Flat Pieces

Flat forms provide wonderful vehicles for exploring painting (pattern and/or images) on clay. The interaction of the painting with the fire and the natural textual qualities of the clay bring the form to life.

Animal imagery has become an important part of my work and each flat piece seems to reveal something new as they develop. Prices range from $20 (dessert plates) up to $500 for some platters. For specific information contact John.
